Edward Album is currently a Senior Arbitrator, a Company Director and a member of a number of voluntary organisations. He has been, until recently, an active and experienced Solicitor.

He was educated at Emanuel School, in London, and at Christ Church, Oxford, where he received an M.A. Degree.

After National Service and University, he joined a leading law firm in the City of London and became a partner and joint head of the Company and Commercial Department. He then moved to a merchant bank, later becoming legal adviser for an international trading and shipping group.

He has had a major involvement with rail operations and heritage, particularly for the Settle & Carlisle Line.
